It is really hard to make text work, it has to be interesting and I think hand drawn helps. In this design I think both are handled well. I like it.

Not to sound overtly Threadless... but I would kinda like to see the design without the words... Which is kinda weird cause I like the lettering... Oye!
you know, i like the way the background layer of the submission looks better than the concepted sticker on the laptop. the off-centered text block, the assymetry of the lines and shapes... much more pleasing to my eye.
also, it's easier to read the text, and looks far less busy than the laptop concept.
in short: i'd like to see the background slate as the laptop sticker instead.
