In a desolate area of Iceland, this frozen waterfall ripped apart and pulled down the valley. Dark age Catholic theologians thought this was the entrance to Dante's hell, which was originally a frozen hive. The heartfelt destitute of the day would come and hurl themselves into the icy pit to rescue loved ones they thought were withering away within the depths.

I like the way that the sky seems to be reflecting the ice underneath it. Do you mind me asking what cameras and techniques you used on this photo?

Iceland is a Beautiful Country. Great Picture of Gulfoss. To bad you can't add sound, the water going over the falls is deafening.

Looks great and works perfect on the dimensions of the iPhone. I think this is your very best image.

Absolutely stunning! I'm always curious to know what kind of camera gear was used, but this time I am really curious about what you must have been perched on! If this is, as the theologians say, the entrance to Hell, I sure hope you had solid footing.

My vote is wholly with the destitute on this one; I'd just have to jump in, to find out what's really down there (and hope to figure a way out later!) Yet another masterpiece from the true HDR maestro; how can one person be this talented? Absolutely fantastic!

The problem with this design is that I might never look at the front of my iphone again because of how beautiful the backside will be with the addition of this photo.

:)

Please, please, please make this available for the ipod classic. I love this picture. I've been going to your site forever and change my wallpaper regularly using your pictures. I have half my office doing it. But this? Spectacular. Please, think about it.
