I wanted to create some art for Infectious that was open to interpretation. For me, the illustration is a beautiful iceberg mountain and galaxy... but I want you to read into the image whatever you want.

Beautiful! This looks like a beautiful artistic interpretation of one of those standard Apple screen savers of space. Like an improved version of the Leopard OS X packaging...

pretty different, i want to not like it, but it is very mesmerizing. I think the space sky is what is not doing it for me. the rock formations are very cool though
I like the space background, i've always liked hubble images and such.
My initial reaction is to not like it, but it draws me in before I can look away. Now I'm staring at it finding that my brain is playing the cloud game -- finding image upon image. If someone sat across from me with this, I wouldn't get jack accomplished.
I agree I love the fact that you can read whatever you want into this design - I think a design like this totally has a place in the main catalog.

the multilayered treatment is what makes it work so well.
I adore this one. I almost wish the stars weren't there so that this was even more abstract and I could play the guessing game endlessly.
