The theme is Blogosphere, hence the hot air balloon and the tag clouds involved. In the Web 2.0 environment today, the Blogosphere is highly saturated with bloggers alike. This design aims to bring out the fact that blogging has become so celebrated, that an entire "sphere" of influence is given to it.

I like the hot air balloon metaphor. I know the line style is supposed to be naive, but it feels a tiny bit too sketchy for my tastes.
