A piece I did after spending some time in New York City. This is all about the various imagery I took from the place during my stay. I used 100% Cyan & Magenta as they are two strong, vibrant colours that echo the city's urban environment. Enjoi!

Great collage, great colours. The only thing I'd question is the inclusion of Starbucks, which makes me think Seattle, but that's just nitpicking.
Good stuff dude. Vote. Done.
vote complete. Like the work; the contrast of complexity between the collage and the background gives it a nice visual punch.
loves it chick you know it! peace.
Love it!
Great work with type - I like it. What I don't like are the guns, are you making it seem like people in our city walk around with AKs? I smell stereotype. Have you considered revising (dropping) Starbucks as it is a copy write infringement?
Cheers room5sixteen. I put the guns in as I noticed a heavy police presence, especially around the Ice Rink at the Rockefeller Center (this was in 2004 though...). Also the open display of heavy weaponry by them. Being from England, it was just something I personally wasnt used to, so it stuck in my mind that's all.
As for the word starbucks, I dont want to drop it from the piece as it was integral part of my stay in NYC.
Excuse the pun, but i'm sticking to my guns. :)
Cheers joey/admin. I visited allot of Starbucks coffee shops during my stay so thats why i've put it in. :)
Awesome. I love the contrast of the two colours against the white background.
I think this would make an ace laptop design.
I'm not sure about the legal issues with the word Starbucks. It may come under the 'fair use' policy. I however am not a lawyer.
I think the design is pretty cool but I wish it utilized the negative space a bit better... This would probably work better on a iPhone.
i like it, great colors and i love using silhouettes
Cheers to you for the range of the work but to clarify the large presence of police with heavy weapons was to avert any form of terrorism since 911. Sensitive subject I suppose but having been there in those times it's just a reminder. That's just me but I can see where it may follow others in that market.
this is a real standout...love it!
Cheers everyone for all your comments! Peas out.
i love how you made the shape of the liberty statue out of things associated with new york
