Can you share a little bit about the piece and how you conceived of it:
Initially this picture was made as draft for a flash project. I spent a lot of time thinking about it – I made about ten different sketches. I wanted to create something special, bright, a very catchy thing. It is about the trip of a little girl, who finds herself in an unusual world which is both scary and charming at the same time. I don’t know how she got there, I’m just interested in her experience at this precise moment. I want to spend more time on this project when I next have some free time.
If you were to describe your work to someone who’s never seen it, what would you say?
It’s often colorful, with many details and you can scrutinize different elements for a long time. Many people have told me that it looks like a whole story.
What’s your creative process when producing a piece of art?
I’ve learned to understand that no two jobs are the same. Sometimes I see the idea very clearly and draw rather quickly, but generally it needs to be considered carefully. I sometimes make a lot of sketches and redraw them several times, till the result satisfies me. I have the little sketchbook which is constantly with me. I always draw sketches in it when I have some ideas.
Could you share an image of one of your latest sketches?

Would you share three unique things in your workspace that inspire you?
The first unique thing is my boyfriend :D That and UV lamps and lots of free space.
What’s the art scene like where you live?
Now I’m living in a small town. There is not art scene here. My friends make some music. I live in my own virtual world and mainly communicate with people around the globe.
What are you really into right now?
Now I’m working at several projects – a t-shirt print design, some images for exhibitions and my personal work.
What do you have as your desktop wallpaper?
I change it every day, today it is a great fashion photography.
What are your vices/guilty pleasures?
I’m a caffeine addict, I love sleeping, eating sweets… I do my best to overcome natural laziness :D
What’s the first picture you can remember drawing as a child?
I used to draw horses and dogs all days.
If you were a dinosaur, what kind would you be and why?
Probably I was a pterodactyl. I imagine that the primal jungle was a wonderful spectacle. Besides I’m not afraid of height, because when I was a child I used to rock climb a lot.
What was your last memorable dream?
Recently I had a very bright and realistic dream about the aliens coming to Earth and poisoning the biosphere. I stood on the edge of precipice, watching a huge shining alien dome that was their base. I knew I would die, but it didn’t matter because it was such an amazing sight. It was better then any movie :)
If you had to change careers, what would be next?
I think it would be some kind of creative job, when you always need to invent something. Or maybe a cook, I love cooking so much.
Are there any upcoming shows or projects you’d like to share?
It’s a secret!
What’s your motto?
Never give up and always push yourself. Be passionate.
