Can you share as much as possible about the piece and how you conceived of it?
FESTIVAL was inspired by my first Festa Major de Gràcia (a year ago) here in Barcelona, this festival has its own personality. I found something that made me feel special. I noticed I was part of it and in that moment you enter the party, you feel welcomed, surrounded by human colors. Many cultures, all kinds of food, the joy, and the way they share their art and creativity that make you interact with one another.
Would you share three unique things in your workspace that inspire you?
1) I find inspiration around Barcelona; the mixture culture, people, architecture, Mediterranean way of life, colors and good feeling.
2) My playlist of songs of my mp3 player, it’s essential
3) Some Dali postcards, Alfons Mucha posters that I paste to the wall.
What’s the best compliment/most extreme reaction you’ve ever received in response to your work?
Well, it was a few days ago, a girl from Sweden sent me a very spontaneous message. I felt really flattered, now she is fan of mine. Here is what she said:
“I totally “amo(love in spanish)” your stuff. Who are you? Or what are you :)" by Greta Sjöbom.
What would be on your quintessential mixtape?
It would be a contrast of styles:

All this things that i’ve done by the Killers
Girls and Boys by Blur

If your art was music, what would it sound like?
Some people say it is like a strong female voice. Yep, something like gospel with positive lyrics with an ode to life and nature.
What do you have as your desktop wallpaper?
Well, I had abstract images before, but I got bored, so now it is blank.
What are your vices/guilty pleasures?
To taste all kinds of food in the world. To be honest, my real vice is to cook! Thai food, Indian, Scandinavian, Caribbean, Japanese, Spanish…and more. You have to see my kitchen.
What’s the first picture you can remember drawing as a child?
The first? I cant remember but what I do remember is that I used to draw my favorite characters on my bedroom wall.
If you were a dinosaur, what kind would you be and why?
I think a Veloci Raptor, short and always hungry!
What was your last memorable dream?
I cant remember now, but my dreams are usually weird.
If you had to change careers, what would be next?
Public relations, my friends tell me i’m always smiling and I talk too much! People appreciate it. I would rather be like those guys that travel around the world tasting and researching all kinds of foods! Yep, being paid to travel and eat.
What’s your motto?
“La inspiración existe, pero tiene que encontrarte trabajando” or “Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working” …..Picasso
