Tell us about this piece.
I was inspired by the name of the contest. The Apple logo represents color and life despite the fact that the company has made it so minimal in recent years. I just tried to bring back the old fashion style using the retro brand colors.
If you were to describe your work to someone who’s never seen it, what would you say?
Air.
What’s your creative process when producing a piece of art?
Well the visual part is the last step, I think. It starts with thought and observation of the things and people around us. When you speak visually, it’s important to speak with a perfect balance of expressions.
What’s the art scene like where you live?
The art scene here in Bulgaria is pretty poor. It depends on what kind of artist you are, and what kind of style you are working in. If it’s about commercial stuff it’s very very hard to do something nice and minimalistic. Where ever you are you can always find some people with visions close to yours so you can communicate in the same visual language.
What are you really into right now?
Work, work, work. I’m working on some freelance stuff and some personal projects- motion stuff mostly.
If your art was music, what would it sound like?
Something chill-out with electro parts added in. :)
What do you have as your desktop wallpaper?
A nature scene.
What websites do you check out regularly?
Facebook, ComputerLove, FFFFound, Dropular, Google, Behance and a bunch of blogs.
What are your vices/guilty pleasures?
Cigars.
What’s the first picture you can remember drawing as a child?
An angry sun.
What was your last memorable dream?
I met the girls of my dreams. :)
If you had to change careers, what would be next?
I would be homeless and unemployed :) Or maybe I’d be a photographer or football player.
Are there any upcoming shows or projects you’d like to share?
Soon I’ll be updating my portfolio on NuFabric with some fresh stuff.
What’s your motto?
Control your skills.
