About

Greg was born in the late 70's and began drawing in very early in childhood and throughout school. It wasn't until the movie "Back to the Future" came out that he was driven to pick up a skateboard. Skateboarding opened his eyes to view things a little differently, to see "fun" in ordinary things. After going to school for design, Greg worked as graphic designer for 10 years, before quitting to open a skate shop “Aura Boardsports” with his wife Angie. Through his skate shop he began creating custom decks for customers and eventually moved to silkscreen in order to create editions of printed skate decks. Amidst creating his custom decks, Greg found popdeck, an online community of artists that were using skateboards as canvases for their work! Greg felt right at home when the popdeck community became infectious. He makes it a point to vote for each and every piece of artwork posted. He chimes in with help and critiques and posts art whenever something makes it to the computer screen from his head.
