Describe your style:
My style is indescribable, I experiment with many different techniques and styles.

Can you share a little bit about the piece and how you conceived it?
The “I love blogging” illustration was an experiment with pixel-art style. I have a very strong affection towards this style of graphics, mainly because of the 8-bit early video games I played as a kid.

What does blogging mean to you and how does it effect your life?
I actually run three blogs (one is personal, one is about my works and the last one is a blog of a usergroup I’m managing). All three are powered by WordPress :) For me blogging is a natural way of expressing yourself.

Describe your blogs:
On my “professional” blog (http://blackmoondev.com) I mainly show my projects, write about the webdesign industry and publish some tutorials. On the personal blog (http://designerblog.pl) I write about many different things – some related to the design and some that are totally off-topic.

Who/what are your creative influences?
Everything can give you inspiration. The only thing is to listen and combine elements in your head.

What’s the most unusual thing that’s ever inspired a piece of your art?
I guess the most unusual inspiration was a documentary about genetics – and a mouse with human ear on the back.

What things have you seen recently that are going to inspire a piece of art?
I read a lot of bedtime stories to my children and I have a lot of ideas about illustrating one.

What’s the best compliment you’ve had to your art?
I guess winning a competition on Infectious ;)

Could you share something about yourself that makes you blush!:
When I hear compliments about my work.

If you had to change careers, what would be next?
Actually, as a freelancer I don’t have a career, as such. I do projects that focus on web design, illustration, programming, design, so every time I’m fed up with current work, I switch that to something else. In an imaginary world, without internet and computers, I would like to be a carpenter.

Are there any upcoming shows or projects you’d like to share?
There will be a major redesign on my site soon and I’m also working on some ideas for illustration with fairy tales motives and some really cool online games.
