If you were to describe your work to someone who’s never seen it, what would you say?
I would say nothing, I prefer look at the viewer’s face to see his or her reaction.
What’s your creative process?
When I get an idea, I have to run home to sketch immediately. If I don’t, I forget everything. Normally, when I have a good idea, I don’t have a pencil or paper with me. I usually finish working on one idea quickly because I can’t work with the same image for too long. I am impatient and need results fast!
Could you share one of your latest sketches?
These are a few sketches I did for a children’s book called “Mago Goma”:http://adriafruitos.blogspot.com/2009/05/mago-goma-en-proceso.html. The book tells the story of a crazy magician who lives in an upside-down world… It’s a very strange story..
