i think the template is up … when you go to the submission page, there is a link and specs for what size the final piece needs to be. |

Question: I was considering purchasing a board from popdeck, and when I went on the site today to puchase, the site was gone! I knew that it was going to be ‘eaten’ by infectious, but how will I get my deck now?? When will you be putting the decks up on infectious, and will they be the same as the ones last available on popdeck!? I am so woeful because I was truly in love with one of the decks…. :( |

hey! thanks tim and joey – yeah, i think you are right.. the image was definitely not a regular jpg but my file names were so similar i kept trying to upload the wrong one. i gave up and went to sleep.. i think i was working too late or something… sleeping helps because i was able to do it with no problem the next time! |

Hi, i’m a little confused with the sizing for upload… is that for the whole thing eg as the skate decks with design are shown with the design also in the background or just the size for the image that goes onto the skate deck? I’ve tried sizing the image to 650 × 800 pixels but it’s blowing the image out each side like a stick figure turned Pilsbury Doughboy… I’ve tried various crops etc in a bit to get the width of the character in the image not max out… Am i being completely dense here and it’s actually all very easy and clear on how to do this? (Don’t answer that last bit… lol) |

7zero7- leave the contraint on and put the width at 650. The length at 800 is the max, it can be smaller. The ones I’ve uploaded were 650 x ~200-300. The main thing is the width has to be 650 and the length no larger than 800. If you do this the max size of the file should be less than 250 kb. See if that works for ya. |

Hi C2design, thanks for your advice… Ok, i’m gonna come off as a complete dufus here… i’m completely confused….So basically whatever my image is i need to flip it either horizontal or vertical so the 650 x no more than 800 width works? Next questions are… is this sizing JUST for the image uploaded on the deck template or is it as i’ve seen here on the site with some images being that of the deck AND background image? Sorry for all the questions, this’ll be a first for me (if i can get the damn thing done right and up)… |

7zero7 Yup! Just make sure you image is 650 pixels wide and no longer than 800 pixels tall. The deck template is meant to be used as a guide to setup your art for presenting on the site. You can use the deck template to mock-up your art on then if you wish, drop in a background image like many of the submissions within the voting gallery. It’s all just meant to have a good presentation to show of your design to the community… This image is the image we are referring to that’s sized at 650 pixels wide and up to 800 pixels tall. Hopefully that makes sense! Good luck! |
