Welcome to Infectious. We're sure looking forward to having you around.

Here are our simple guidelines to make sure that everybody has a positive experience. This is not an exhaustive list, so please use your common sense and play nicely in your interactions on the website.

1. Be constructive with your criticism

You are entitled not to like a design, but we do expect our members to be more insightful than just typing "crap" in their comments. Give artists precise feedback so that it can be a learning experience. Remember that artists are opening their artwork up to public feedback: we believe in doing this they deserve a little common courtesy.

2. Don't be a bigot

We have a basic rule here, if you wouldn't say it to somebody's face, please refrain from saying it at all. We have zero tolerance for remarks that are racist, sexist or offensive to a person's sexual preference or religion.

3. Respect the copyright of others

Make sure you only post your own words, images and photos in the voting gallery and forums. Don't violate the privacy of others. If you see your image as another member's submission please email us at abuse@infectious.com and we'll deal with it.

4. Make it work safe-ish

We're into collaboration not censorship, but this is a public forum so please use your best judgment. Hard core porn or anything that shows an illegal activity is a no-no. If you see content that crosses the line of acceptability, including spam, please email us at abuse@infectious.com.

Consequences

We like giving second chances, so if you step over any of the above lines, we'll send you a polite email. But be warned repeat violations will result in account termination. If you'd like to participate in the community in a civil way, we welcome you with open arms. If you don't feel that you can abide by our Community Guidelines, we'll be sad to see you go, but maybe Infectious isn't for you.

Enough of the don'ts! We do want you to get inspired, to engage with the site in a positive way and to make some creative friends/fans in the process.
