Submit your Design for Critique

All you need to participate is a low-resolution image (650px by up to 800px) and a thumbnail to go with it. You'll can get feedback and re-upload the main image until you are satisfied and ready to submit for voting. Each version will receive it's own comments and ratings, so this is a great tool to get your chances of winning as high as possible.

• Get the Infectious Design Templates! (To the left.)

  Adobe™ Illustrator or Photoshop CS or higher.
  Includes templates, instructions and images for designing laptop, wall and car art.

• Create your submission.

  Create a 650 pixel by up to 800 pixel image that showcases your artwork. Check out samples in the sidebar to the left. Take advantage of our Design Templates, which contain line art drawings and photographs of various laptops, wall environments and cars.

• Save your art files

  You will be saving and submitting two files:

  File #1: Your submission:
  Your submission must be 650 pixels wide and up to 800 pixels tall, with a file size less then 250Kb. Our Photoshop template is conveniently sized at 1300 x 1600 pixels (double the required resolution), so you could use the entire template as your canvas. Follow our JPG exporting instructions to ensure the file you upload has correct dimensions and file size.
  File #2: A thumbnail
  A small piece that captures the best bit of your design. Must be a .JPG that is at least 200 x 200 pixels (we'll crop your image to a square, if it's not already a square).
  

  JPG Saving Instructions

  1. Hide the "Turn Me Off Before Saving" layer so the red areas and instructions disappear.
  
  2. Click on the FILE menu and select SAVE FOR WEB & DEVICES.
  
  3. Set the image type to JPEG and set the image quality to VERY HIGH.
  
  4. Click on the IMAGE SIZE tab, change the image width to 650 pixels and click APPLY.
  • Leave CONSTRAIN PROPORTIONS checked.
  • The length should automatically be set, and should not exceed 800px. If for some reason it exceeds 800px, you will need to crop your image first.
  
  5. Make sure your file size is 250Kb or smaller (if it is too large, you can decrease the image quality). Look for the file size in the left bottom corner of the "Save for Web Dialog".
  
  6. Click save and name your file.
