Welcome to Infectious’ first ever Wall Decal design challenge. We’re looking for some off-the-wall vinyl to add to our catalog. And we want you to make it.

Go balls to the wall and put your inspiration throttle on max. Tag it, tear it down, show us your art breaking on through from the other side or growing out from a corner. Push the limits of your creativity. Try and make your art interact with the wall. Show us a Wonderwall.

Remember:

Please composite all designs onto a photograph of a wall.
Keep the outline of the art fairly simple.
We recommend modular designs that flow across the wall.
The maximum size of the centerpiece of your design shouldn’t be more than 36” x 51”.
Winning designs may be translated into other products.
Voting lasts for two weeks and winners are chosen by the community and Team infectious.

Prepare your submission
Just send us a .JPG or .PNG of your design. Your submission must be 650 pixels wide and up to 800 pixels tall, with a file size less then 250Kb. Follow our JPG exporting instructions to ensure the file you upload has correct dimensions and file sizet
Prepare a thumbnail
A small piece that captures the best bit of your design. Must be a .JPG that is at least 200 x 200 pixels (we'll crop your image to a square, if it's not already a square).

	joey @Eikaleika There will be one first place winner that will receive the cash prize, royalties + gift certificate. The team will also invite a number of other designs to join the catalog. These artists will receive royalties and a gift certificate. How many runners up depends on 1) the number of strong submissions we have 2) on community voting and 3) on what designs Team Infectious think will sell well. There could be 1 runner up, there could be 4. Occasionally if we have lots of really strong candidates we do a second round launch, like we did for our Cut to the Core contest. 	joey @nina_dwi_s The difference is that Off The Wall the art should be conceived as wall art. For Open Submission artist are welcome to composite onto any product or even just submit a jpeg of their art. For both contests the theme is unlimited, but we would prefer for you not to resubmit the same design to Open Submissions as well, as both contests get filtered into the same voting gallery and there’s a chance that the community will get a little overwhelmed and not give such a high score to a repeat submission. If your design wins the Wall Decal contest, there’s a chance we might translate it onto other products as well. We’d love you to submit a new design to Open Submission though!
