The iPad is here and we're hard at work on releasing Infectious skins for this awesome little device. But it just ain't no fun, without some new designs made just for the iPad from the Infectious community. And we're giving the best skin design their own iPad with their skin attached. How's that?

(Note: Apple is in no way affiliated with Infectious and they definitely did not endorse this design challenge).

No design on the front of the iPad. Just on the back.
Please use the iPad design submissions kit and composite your design.
Winning designs may be translated into other products.
Voting lasts for two weeks and winners are chosen by the community and Team infectious.

Just send us a .JPG or .PNG of your design. Your submission must be 650 pixels wide and up to 800 pixels tall, with a file size less then 250Kb. Follow our JPG exporting instructions to ensure the file you upload has correct dimensions and file sizet
Prepare a thumbnail
A small piece that captures the best bit of your design. Must be a .JPG that is at least 200 x 200 pixels (we'll crop your image to a square, if it's not already a square).

	burbskate depending on how big they are, you could probably get a laptop skin and trim it … does the logo light up like the macbooks? probably a good idea to start officially doing ipad skins tho.	created almost 2 years ago

	hoffman I think having the design just on the back would look good, maybe still have the option for a hole to show the apple logo even if it doesn’t light up? Really badly want to get an ipad and i dont know why!? Dont think its out yet in the UK but when it is might have to check it out. 	burbskate i have an iphone and just bought a used Macbook … I really dont see a need for the ipad for me. That screen just seems to be BEGGING to be scratched. At least a laptop or netbook has a lid to close to protect it.	created almost 2 years ago

	OneMannBrand iPad comes out in the UK late next month. If you want a lid then just buy a cover. There’s the official one and loads more on eBay which look cool. There shouldn’t be too many bugs because it’s just i giant iPod Touch so they should have all the bugs sorted. I keep trying to talk myself out of buying one since it’s not a necessity but so far the Apple shop is wining!	created almost 2 years ago

	onesidezero Hey guys, I might have missed something somewhere but is this open to US residents only? If not will the Ipad be sent to the winner be in the verison that matches their country, eg US/Europe/Asia? 	ksmarion Tim, I’ve had several people tell me they cannot see my submission, but they can see other submissions. I can see it on my computer and many other people who have voted for my work are able to see the image. I finally had the opportunity to see the site on a computer that did not display my art, and there were several other’s submissions that were x’d out as well.
